Back to PT

I have decided to start another round of Physical Therapy. I have been fighting pain in my right hip that sets off my sciatic for over 4 months now and I have to get a handle on it. I have been afraid that I may have damage to my right hip during the fall off the roof almost 2 years ago and even though I have fixed my back my hip has not come around. After the evaluation Mike my PT feels that it is my SI joint and not my hip my right SI joint is not moving correctly. When I lye down my right leg is shorter but when I stand up my right hip is higher and rotated forward. He can't seem to reproduce the pain in my hip. This is a good sign and he has given me several exercises and will be doing some manipulation to see if we can get the right SI joint moving correctly and eliminate the pain. I think he is on to something. The energy work would give me relief until I did something physical. This leads me to believe that it is structural and I need to strengthen certain muscles groups and stretch others. I will post my exercises that I said I would do everyday. I plan to do more energy work as I really enjoyed it and I see its place in my recovery.
