Going Back

I’m going back, I turned in my application and medical release to Heavenly Ski Resort to go back to teaching skiing this winter after 3 years off. Besides being physically strong enough to go back, I need to get back to my life. With the wait going out to 4 years, I foresee a lot of good turns in my future. I will be working at the base lodge just 2 minute from the house. I am excited to be back on the team. I have missed mingling with the guest that come to ski our mountain. It so fun to tour people around show them my favorite spots, places they would never know how to find unless they were with a guide. But when there’s no guest to play with we go out on clinics it’s a great way to work on your skills and keep up on the latest ski technique. Just putting back on the jacket will mean so much to me these days. This is the year for my come back because next year I could be living a completle different life.
