I have never owned a piece of exercise equipment just a gym membership. But in the winter I find it hard to get to the gym and forgo it for the couch and a warm blanket. I bit the bullet and bought myself a spinning bike.

I love it and it sits in my dinning room. I don’t dine very often so this has become a good use of space by the window. I use a heart rate monitor

to keep track of my cardio intensity and will play with the numbers by standing up to pedal or doing jumps. Here are a few other things I have added to my home gym.

An exercise ball and a yoga mat, 2- 5lb and 10lb hand waits. But the most important piece is something to stick in your ear that plays music nice and lowed. I find it the best motivator around. Off to work out now.
