PT up Date:

Around Oct I went back to PT and things felt better and I started ski-conditioning classes. I was feeling pretty good. It was like old muscles were coming back on board. I must say I was amazed at what I could do. It may have been 1 too many jumps around Thanksgiving and I had to back off and hit PT again. The hip is better for sure as long as I do set of exercises every day. I try to them 2X/day. They are abduction isometric contractions followed by a psoas stretch, hip flexor stretch and the stick behind my right leg and in front of my left leg isometric contractions. I have a lot of others I add in but these are the core staples every day. I am spinning on my bike, and cross-country skiing with the dogs and hope to see my fist downhill ski day soon. Conditions have been hard and man made, not my favorit and very windy. I am waiting for the right conditions with no crowds. I can be picky its early in the season. The gym just reopened from the remodel that will really help a lot. My hope is not to need PT and be able to manage things on my own.
